Regional Deployments

Spec utilizes regional processing near customer origins to eliminate unnecessary latency.

Spec regions allow bidirectional traffic scanning along the normal network routing used to send requests to the origin and optimize connection handling to achieve the lowest possible network round-trip time.

Spec Regions allow for low-latency network connections.

This is also important for Spec failover and redundancy features, as traffic follows the same predictable network routes regardless of whether Spec is actively processing traffic or removed from the traffic flow.
